The film stars Mickey Rourke as a wrestler forced into retirement who strikes up a romance with an aging stripper (Marisa Tomei).

This is of particular interest to this humble Judge as I’ll be seeing The Wrestler in a few short days at TIFF (hooray!) and will have a review up next week. We’ll let you know if The Wrestler is all the Golden Lion’s cracked up to be. Based on what I’ve been hearing about the film, it definitely will be.
