Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman has been hospitalized after a nasty car crash in Mississippi, according to CNN, and is reported in “serious condition”. Jaws of life and everything.
Boo-urns. I can’t even calculate the loss of losing a guy like Freeman to the cinematic world. Here’s hoping a speedy recovery to him!

Why is CNN TV news reporting that Mr. Freeman is “fighting for life” and CNN.COM is reporting that his injuries are serious (fractures) but not life threatening? The use of the “jaws of life” just means that the car was damaged in ways that prevented the driver and passengers from exiting the car.
