Rivet Productions has taken what was a five minute spoof on 300 by filmmakers David and Daniel Holechek and turned it into a full-length feature film. The mockumentary, somewhat derivative of The Office and Tiki Bar TV, focuses on five Spartans assigned to guard a rather obscure goat path by King Leonidas.

The short drew the attention of more than 4 million viewers on YouTube and played well with audiences at the Palm Beach, Newport Beach, and Indie Spirit Film Festivals. The feature film will arrive on DVD July 8 from Allumination Filmworks, with bonus materials including an audio commentary, behind the scenes featurettes, deleted scenes, a gag reel, and the original short.
